Jour 1, - Le jardin de Pietro et de Barbara, à côté du Murray



La sécheresse en Australie affecte chacun. Le Fleuve Murray qui fournit la plupart de l'eau d'Adelaïde, est à 1.5 mètres ci-dessous son niveau ordinaire. L'agriculture le long de Murray inférieur est dans la tension sérieuse. C'est évident partout.
Pourtant, les photographies du fleuve et de ses environs indiquent avec optimisme l'esprit des gens et de leur désir d'être TRUE BLUE
The drought in Australia is affecting everyone. The River Murray which supplies most of Adelaide's water, is 1.5 metres below it's usual level. Agriculture along the lower Murray is in serious stress. It is evident everywhere.
However, photographs of the river and its environs hopefully indicate the spirit of the people and their desire to be TRUE BLUE

Yikes! That jetty's a loooong way out of the water.
I love the shot of the rusty old seed drill. Wonderful.

Oh my, that corn planter in the last picture brings back a lot of memories of times when they were pulled by horses. You could plant corn with them and beans, but mostly corn. It looks like a two row corn planter.
