Le Jardin du Luxembourg

We descended into the Métro again at Pigalle. The Métropolitaine is marvellous and gets you everywhere in just a blink.

On the train, Michael advised Madame that a certain gentleman near us was not in his right mind, and she rightly worried.

From Pigalle, - nous nous sommes dépêchés vers Notre Dame des Champs dans le sixième arrondissment, - and believed more of what the chimney pots had predicted.

For it was here that one finds the magnifique Jardin du Luxembourg and le Sénat.
What's more, we had arranged to meet Eric at the gate by the Rue de Assas.

Every man and his dog was here, this hot 30° day; but when we saw the sign, so unusual in Paris, "Pelouse Authorisée"; (sitting on the grass permitted) we thought ,"how civilized". (Crikey, - what else is grass for ?) They're not very Australian in some parts !

Next; more of these beautiful and inspiring gardens...

I knew you took photo number 3 (what is that called again?), but when did you sneak off and take photo number 4? Hmmmmm

He does that all the time Michael, with his 18 x zoom lens. Pfft. Boys!

While you were ogggling the girls in the sun, I must have been at the urinoir, or was it the other way round.

The sign said,

Ne pas jeter du papiers dans les urinoirs pour la propreté et l'hygène. s-v-p

Even though I had already read l'Express, I didn't ditch it in the urinoir.

I am so hygienic !!

Bonjour bonjour les Benaut! Very interesting to see "our" Paris through your eyes! I would have been very happy to meet you but, when you come, I was so busy with my children who were just beginning their year to the university...So I didn't say anything...
The number 4 is a bit underexposed, what a pity ;-)

Hi, Alice.
It's so nice to see an old friend again.
And, - it would have been marvellous to have gone to Arradon.
We must some day, return to France and meet so many more of our wonderful friends.

Merci pour vos mots agréables. J'espère que vous continuerez à apprécier la France par mes yeux.

Il y a tellement plus pour vous montrer.

One of the best places in Paris to people watch. Did you sail the small boats?

I wish I had Kate; it was a really hot day in Paris and at this stage, the day was only 1/2 way through.

It's taking ages to do justice to each day; so much was happening.

You will like day 5, but that will mean a small wait......

I do like that sign, Monsieur.
As for number 4: your fans expect nothing less!

I took that shot just for you, Old Son !

Well one good thing about Paris in NOvember is every man and his dog will be inside and we can have les jardins to ourselves, and freeze our ninnies off!

The photo of the three of them should be framed. It's really lovely.
